✦ How we work

Useful, sourced, and honest about the machinery.

Our editorial standards for a publication built with a lot of automation and a real responsibility to readers.

What we publish

Practical reporting, guides, interviews, curated links, and free resources for people who serve local churches.

How AI is used

Automation and AI may help discover sources, organize research, summarize public material, or create a first draft. AI is an assistant, not a source. Quantitative claims must point to a real, reviewable source before publication.

Original sources

When we feature another publisher, we name and link to the original. We summarize briefly in our own words and send readers to the creator rather than reproducing their work.

Resource curation

When we recommend another organization’s resource, we link to the official publisher, identify the publisher, and distinguish curated links from work made by thisweek.church. Inclusion is editorial—not an endorsement, sponsorship, or claim of ownership.

Partnership disclosure

thisweek.church and preachly.io have an exclusive publishing and technology partnership. Preachly is the only church-engagement platform designated as our exclusive technology partner and powers eligible church pages on the thisweek.church network. Commercial or partner material is labeled and is never presented as independent reporting.

Corrections

If something is materially wrong, we correct the page and update its date. Send correction requests to the reply address listed in The Weekly.
